It's early. So early that daylight still makes me squint. I walk passed the mailboxes, driveways of cobble stone, gravel, pavement; double garages or single, two-story or one-story homes with white siding, beige siding; fake Venetian blinds and lawns that fit like golf course-green Tetris pieces in between squares of cement sidewalk. Everything here fits the way boxes should in the back of a transport truck. The compacted utopian ideal, the American dream gone bulimic and anorexic, just like the wife of the American Dreamer. Sup
